Northern KY Chapter 5 has teamed up with Cincinnati
Veterans Affairs Center to assist in making a dream come
true for those who served our country in the past by
establishing ‘Share Your Dream with a Blue Star Mother’,
a program dedicated to assisting terminally ill
Veterans.
In
a co-effort, both organizations have joined in hopes of
fulfilling dreams of our Veterans in failing
health. Wishes may vary from a dinner out at a nice
restaurant with friends, to a front row seat to see their
favorite team play baseball or simply sharing in a game
of cards between two friends.
While
Cincinnati Veterans Affairs Center knowing the criteria
as to who qualifies, will only serve as a referral
source, the NKY Chapter 5 will assist in funding these
wishes with help from donations.
'Share
Your Dream' does not consider these as final wishes, but
rather a celebration of a soldier's life, filled with
honor, love and appreciation.
